20 miles, elevation 945 feet. For advanced beginners and intermediate riders. Average pace 10 - 12 mph. Route includes rolling hills and a few good climbs.
Join us for a ride in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve and learn why the Ag Reserve is the envy of cyclists in the mid-Atlantic. This ride is great for advanced beginners ready to try a more challenging ride with a supportive group. We’ll ride on some of the most beautiful roads in the Reserve-- passing by active farms, horses, orchards, woods and streams. We'll ride on paved country roads with very light traffic. Mostly rolling hills with a couple of climbs. Best suited for road bikes or a hybrid that can tackle hills.
As with all WWO rides, there will be a leader and a sweep, and no one will be left behind.
There is limited space, so please register early. After you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with additional event details and start location.
