The Best Poolesville Roads in the Right Directions Bike Ride
Saturday, September 9, 2017
9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
$10 members, $15 non-members
Level: 34 miles
Rolling hills to moderately hilly country roads. Suitable for intermediate to advanced riders.
We will meet in Poolesville, MD and enjoy the scenic rustic roads of Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve, a nationally acclaimed area that was established in 1980 in response to the rapid disappearance of Montgomery County farms. We will cross one lane bridges and ride by farms and through forests in view of Sugarloaf Mountain. Bring snacks and we will end the day with an optional late lunch at Bassetts – a Poolesville favorite.
This new Poolesville ride follows many of our favorite roads “in the right direction,” i.e., maximizing downhill directions. Please arrive in time to be ready to roll at our departure time of 9:00.
Registration Deadline: Friday, September 8, 2017
