Lake Brittle and Warrenton Bike Ride
Saturday, March 16, 2019
Warrenton, VA
10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
$10 members, $15 non-members
Level: 33.0 miles
Intermediate to advanced riders.

This ride starts at Lake Brittle and rides through the scenic countryside around Warrenton, passing a winery and Airlie House — a 1200 acre bucolic conference center created in 1960. We’ll also ride on the Warrenton Branch Greenway, by working farms, creeks and historic civil war sites. This ride has many rolling hills and a couple of challenging ones, as well — but it’s well worth it! The ride ends after passing through Vint Hill Farms Station which was an army intelligence station during the Cold War. The property was sold in 1999 to the Virginia economic development authority and several businesses have located there including a craft winery, a brewery, a cafe and the Cold War Museum. We’ll have the option of lunch in Vint Hill after the ride. Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start out on time.

Registration Deadline: Thursday, March 14, 2019
