Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA is one of the premier horticultural display gardens in the US, with over 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands and meadows as well as events, performances, lectures, courses and workshops. Our trip begins Friday evening when we set up camp at a nearby campground. We will spend all day Saturday at Longwood Gardens and into the evening for a special Fireworks & Fountain Show, “Monet’s Garden” which is only one of six memorable evenings featuring this special show. Tickets, which include all-day gardens admission, are required for these artistic shows which combine fountains and fireworks choreographed to music.

On Sunday, we will visit nearby historical sites before heading home. Campground rules restrict number of tents per campsite so tent sharing among participants could be necessary.
