Winter weather in our area can be unpredictable, so we've scheduled a second ski trip in the hopes that there will be enough snow for at least one of the trips to be a go. New Germany State Park is an ideal place to learn to ski, with over 14 miles of beginner and intermediate trails. For those who already know the basics, you'll receive pointers on techniques for improving speed and endurance. The trip price includes ski equipment rental, instruction at the start of the day, experienced guides to help you with your technique throughout the day, and hot lunch by the fire in a cozy heated hut.

Those who want to carpool together to the park near Grantsville, MD will meet in Gaithersburg around 7 a.m. If you prefer, you can meet us at the park at 10 a.m. Overnight accomodations are available nearby; please contact the WWO office for further information.
