Cancellation and Refund Policy

To register by mail: Fill out the registration form and send it with your fee to WWO. If you cannot pay the trip fee in full when you register, a deposit will reserve the space. The deposit must be at least 15% of the trip fee and cannot be less than $25.00. The balance is due 14 days before the trip date or your reserved space will be cancelled automatically and your place will be offered to someone on the waiting list.

To register via our Website: Find the description of the trip that you would like to attend and select the Add to Cart button that appears after this description. There is a different Add to Cart button for the Member and Non-member price. Follow the directions that appear in the pop-up window which appears when you click on the Add to Cart button.

You must pay the full trip fee when you register via our Web site. A 2.9% charge for the use of Pay Pal will be added to your purchase.

Waiting List: All of our events have limited registration in order to ensure quality instruction for participants. If a trip is filled when your registration form is received, you will be placed on the waiting list. Your confirmation letter will tell you if you are wait-listed. Cancellations do occur unpredicted so please be patient.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: If a participant cancels, WWO will keep either the trip fee or a $10 administrative fee, whichever is less. If she cancels before the registration deadline, WWO will refund the remaining amount or apply it to a future WWO event. If she cancels after the registration deadline, WWO will keep the entire fee unless a replacement for her is found. If a replacement is found, WWO will apply the remaining amount to a future trip.

WWO trips generally go regardless of the weather. Occasionally, safety considerations, limited registration, or other conditions beyond our control may cause us to cancel or reschedule a trip. If WWO cancels a WWO-led event, we will refund or apply the full amount to another WWO event; no administrative fees will be withheld. If an outfitter-led event is cancelled, the outfitter's cancellation policy will apply.
