Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is a 95-acre public garden and park that beckons visitors with its harmonious blend of natural splendor and meticulously designed landscapes. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or simply seeking tranquility, this gem promises an enchanting experience.
As with all WWO hikes, there will be a leader and a sweep, and no one will be left behind.

6 miles, Level 5 rating. Suitable for intermediate to advanced hikers. Gambrill is a beautiful mountain park, located on the ridge of the Catoctin Mountains in Frederick County.
Nestled atop the Catoctin Mountains, Gambrill State Park beckons nature enthusiasts with its rugged charm and breathtaking vistas. We'll hike along trails winding through lush forests and rocky terrain.
The park has three native-stone overlooks which were built by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) in the 1930s. Middletown overlook offers sprawling scenic views to the west. North Frederick and Frederick overlooks offer expansive views of Catoctin Mountains of the east.
